below is my response to the ongoing pandemic we are all experiencing. I wanted to find something positive I and others could hang onto. The painting emerged from within..... just before the pandemic appeared, the words (poem) came as I found myself continually creating more Islands or Solitudes.

we can find a warm safe peaceful island This island can be found within your heart spirit or soul Go within ... take yourself into a place of peacefulness gather your strength then slowly emerge into the world beyond yourself. rmiguez2021 |
